UK ISP Pipex has launched its new voice-over-IP (VoIP) product for businesses, PIPEX VoIP. Early customers will get a free installation and service rental for three months:
PIPEX is launching a fully managed voice product that enables businesses to save money on telephone line rental and call charges, and securely access the Internet via the PIPEX broadband network. VOIP for Business combines a high speed Internet connection and IP telephony with in-built security and extensive PBX (Private Branch Exchange) functionality.
VOIP for Business combines managed security and broadband telephony to enable users to access the Internet and make telephone calls simultaneously, without losing voice quality or being exposed to hackers targeting their network.
Customers can make intra-office calls free of charge and calls to 01 and 02 numbers for less than 1p per minute. They can also benefit from highly competitive rates to UK mobiles, non-geographic and international destinations. Centrally managed PBX functionality provides extensive services such as destination blocking, three-way conferencing, caller line identify and remote voicemail functionality.
The first 25 customers who buy the VOIP for Business service before 31st December will be given free installation and service rental for three months. Launch Customers will only need to pay for their call charges for that period.
