Mesh Broadband has decided to end its Cambridge wireless network on 15th December. Concerns over old technology and a lack of income were to blame. However, it's not all bad news:
Instead, Mesh is looking to build a new wireless network in the area targeting ADSL black spots.
For although the accelerated roll-out of ADSL has helped increase broadband availability in the area, there are still areas with no high-speed net access.
It is these areas - which include business parks - that Mesh intends to target. Around 120 users still left on the old IN network were told last month that the service would be terminated.More @
