In the third of a series of weekly Interviews with different ISP's, ISPr has interviewed Telewest about the current state of the UK Internet access market and future services/technology:
4) Whats your opinion on the EUs new Data Retention (forcing ISPs to hold onto customers personal online traffic data) proposals?
Its well intended but must be balanced with the need to maintain the internet as an open and free platform for personal communication, which is necessary to promote innovation and usage.
