WWW Inventor Named “Best Briton”

Tim Berners-Lee, the man many accredit with being inventor of the 'World Wide Web' (WWW), has won 'Best Briton 2004' at a ceremony held in central London last night. He beat off competition from Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes and architect Sir Norman Foster.
