BBC Extends IPTV To Normal Channels

ADSLGuide reports that the BBC has extended its trial of multicast (Internet TV/Radio) technology to include the streaming of its main TV channels (BBC1 to 4). Unfortunately access is restricted to only certain ISP's and operators:
C & W (but not Bulldog)

NetServices Plc
PlusNet
Zen Internet
KeConnect Internet
InterVivo

This is certainly a step in the right direction, even if the quality of programming on the BBC itself sometimes leaves much to be desired =).
