Global roaming experts iPass have signed a new deal with T-Mobile and T-Com to include their Wi-Fi Hotspots into its network, further expanding coverage around the EU and UK:
More than 800,000 unique quarterly iPass users are expected to benefit from access to over 8,000 T-Mobile HotSpot and T-Com HotSpot locations in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria and the Czech Republic.
The T-Mobile HotSpot and T-Com HotSpot networks include thousands of business-friendly locations that will enable iPass customers to connect quickly and securely to their company network. iPass users will soon have access at major airports like London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Cologne; large hotel chains including Accor and Macdonald; convention centres in Berlin, Hannover, Rotterdam and Prague; as well as everyday venues like Starbucks coffee shops, McDonald's restaurants and Texaco service stations.
"In the UK alone, this partnership means the addition of nearly 1,000 hotspots to the iPass network, with coverage in all major airports, over 300 Starbucks coffee shops, 280 Texaco service stations and 250 business hotels, providing extensive coverage where our customers want to connect from," said Anurag Lal, Senior Vice President, Strategic Services & Business Development, iPass. For a complete list of iPass-enabled wireless access points, readers can download the iPass hotspot finder from
