Celebrating its 10th Anniversary today, ISP
Virgin.net has introduced three new Bundled packages offering broadband and
Virgin.net Talk from just £9.99 per month:
The three Broadband Bundles are available as follows:
* Broadband Bundle One, £19.99 up to 8 Mbps speed, unlimited downloads, free Wireless Kit.
* Broadband Bundle Two, £14.99 up to 8 Mbps speed, 6 GB monthly download allowance.
* Broadband Bundle Three, £9.99 up to 1 Mbps speed, 3 GB monthly download allowance.
Whilst the new Bundles require customers to sign a 12 month contract,
Virgin.nets existing broadband Plans will still be available if customers dont want to be tied into a long term contract.
Virgin.nets new Talk home phone service is free to all Bundle customers and offers evening and weekend calls to UK landlines absolutely free. Plus, customers choosing Bundle One will receive a free
Virgin.net Wireless Kit, which will allow them to connect more than one computer to their broadband service and surf from virtually anywhere in the home.
Richard Branson, Virgins founder, said:
When we launched Virgin.net back in 1996, the internet market was in its infancy. Virgin is all about helping consumers get a great deal and opening up access to new products and services, so thats what we aimed to do with the internet.
Now around 57% of households have internet access and 69% of these are broadband connections. There is a huge range of products available and increasingly internet access is coming bundled with other services like telephone calls. The new packages being launched today mark a natural evolution of Virgin.nets offering, to ensure we keep providing consumers with the best deal. They are also the perfect way to celebrate our tenth birthday and help us look forward to 10 more years!
