Tiscali's latest TV Trends Report 2007 has found that 63% of UK adults would prefer to watch on-demand programmes on a TV set via their broadband connection:
- 42% believe that todays traditional TV schedules will no longer exist in 10 years
- 42% of those who already view on-demand content actually watch less TV as a result
- Londoners are the early adopters 28% have already watched on-demand content via their Internet connection and men are watching the most on-demand content via broadband.
The survey was conducted through Tickbox.net using a "representative" sample of 1,465 adults. Broadband based TV is all well and good until you run into problems with your ISPs data restrictions, a fact many do not fully comprehend.
