PlusNet Confirms Sale Talk - BT Group Touted

PlusNet has awoken to a stronger than normal share price after newspaper reports claimed that BT Group was interested in buying the ISP. PlusNet has since confirmed the rumours of an offer, but did not state whether BT was involved:
Reports also suggest that the German Internet group, Freenet.de, may be similarly interested in a stake of PlusNet.
The Board of PlusNet notes the recent move in its share price. It can confirm that it has received a preliminary approach which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company.
