Telewests broadband ISP,
blueyonder, suffered a national outage for several hours yesterday, disconnecting customers all around the country:
Customers nationally may currently be experiencing difficulties with their
blueyonder connection. Our engineers are investigating this issue and working to restore service.
blueyonder would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The outage has been blamed on a faulty Telehouse core router. Curiously reports suggest that service has now been restored, yet
blueyonder's website continues to show the status as 'open' with no updates.
