GfK has reported that UK sales USB Modems (Dongles) for
Mobile Broadband connections have exceeded 100,000 per month. Roughly 500,000 were shipped between February and June of this year, with each month seeing growth on the previous one.
By comparison just 18,000 were shipped during the whole of September 2007, which had already risen to roughly 75,000 during March of this year.
Mobile Broadband services from Three (3) continue to dominate the market, playing host to 500,000 of the UK's estimated 2m subscribers.
