We've just uploaded a new monthly survey that asks, "
Which aspect of your ISP causes you the most frustration?". Results from the previous months survey can be found below:
Have you ever downloaded illegal content (music, films etc.) over your ISPs connection?
Yes (I knew it was illegal) - 55.5%
No - 29.3%
Yes (I didn't know it was illegal) - 5.2%
Yes (Somebody else did it) - 5.1%
I don't know - 4.7%
Total Votes: 549
The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) estimates that 6m Brits regularly use P2P networks to download music unlawfully and results from our survey would appear to support that, with over 55% knowingly taking part in such activity.
Just 29.3% answered with a flat out no, while 5.2% said they'd downloaded illegally but didn't know it was unlawful at the time, a further 5.1% claimed other people on their connection had done it and 4.7% didn't know if they had or hadn't downloaded illegal software/music.
