State of the Mobile Web (May 2008)' research from Opera, a popular website browser developer, has revealed that men outnumber women on the mobile web by almost nine to one (88.1% overall and 83.4% in the UK). Of the top 10 countries, the United Kingdom has the highest percentage (34%) of users in the 28-37 age group:

Usage of Opera Mini, the world's most popular mobile browser, continues to grow. Every month since its launch in 2006, Opera Mini has seen an increase in users. More than 13 million people used Opera Mini in the month of April, and more than 14.7 million people used Opera Mini in the month of May, which represents a 24.6% increase since March 2008.
