Ofcom Awards Wireless Broadband Spectrum to Qualcomm

Ofcom has awarded its fifth auction of radio spectrum, which covers the 1452-1492 MHz (L) band, to Qualcomm UK Spectrum Ltd. for a licence fee paid of £8,334,000. The spectrum is suitable for offering services such as mobile television, wireless broadband and satellite radio services.
