UK ISP
Supanet has launched a new
Supanet Business division, which aims to provide dedicated support for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) where they need it. The service will also include a range of new business grade broadband packages.
Supanet Enhanced Care includes full technical support as standard with the new
Business 1000/2000/8000 (1Mbps, 2Mbps and 8Mbps) solutions. In the unlikely event of a fault, customers will never be more than four hours away from a response and no more than 20 hours from a resolution:
"For any company unplanned downtime is distressing enough, but without the resources of larger corporations, for small to medium sized businesses, it can be catastrophic," said Supanet Business brand manager John Chyriwsky. "That's why we give a full care package free with most of our products to minimise the effects of an outage."
The new range of business broadband packages start at £30 +vat per month for a download speed of 1Mbps (256Kbps upload) and include unlimited usage (fair usage policy), 20:1 contention ratio, free connection, static IP (to aid VPN and
VoIP calling) and require a minimum 12 month contract.
Supanet's new services launch just a day after both
BT and Opal (
TalkTalk) began a price war over similar business broadband packages.
