Mobile operator
Three (3) has agreed to a new
Mobile Broadband distribution deal with UK IT distributor
Target Components. The agreement requires
Three (3) to supply special
Mobile Broadband starter kits, which will include a 12GigaByte (GB) data allowance that stays valid for one year. Extra credit can be purchased if the initial allocation is used up:
Kelly Burnley, purchasing manager for Target explained,
Mobile Broadband is something we have been looking at for sometime as it fits very well within our product portfolio so we were delighted when Hutchinson approached us. We have seen a massive growth in laptop and netbook sales and customers have been asking us for mobile broadband products for sometime.
The company will also be stocking wireless routers, which allow users to share their
Mobile Broadband service over
Wi-Fi. The starter kits can also be bundled with a laptop, if so desired. Sadly there's no word on how much these kits will actually cost.
