Orange UK has announced the completion of its latest upgrade to their Scottish and Northern Irish 3G voice and 3G+
HSPA (
Mobile Broadband) networks. Customers living, working or travelling within the new network now have access to even more reliable voice and faster data services:

At Orange we are proud of our commitment to give all our customers access to robust and reliable networks. We are investing heavily in updating and improving our infrastructure to meet our goal of being the best UK network for coverage and reliability.
It's estimated that 760 sites across the areas have been upgraded resulting in a 20% improvement in network performance for both voice and data services.
Orange now claims over 94% population 3G coverage and over 70% 3G+ across the UK.
