ISPreview is pleased to reveal that we have partnered with Thinkbroadband, a fellow broadband information site of some note, to offer a new 'Internet Connection Speed Tester'. The new system will help contribute towards building up a geographic map of UK broadband performance and is also capable of dealing with next-gen connections of up to and beyond 50Mbps.

We have also enhanced our previous FLASH based tester to cope with faster connections and have left that online as an option for those unable to install the Java Runtime Environment software, which is required for the new system to function.
