Supanet has joined forces with e-Safe Education. The new partnership means that e-Safe's online safety and filtering solution will be offered as both a value added service to their broadband customers and as a package for all internet users:
Steve Smart Managing Director of Supanet stated, "To join with e-safe education and provide online safety solutions to our users is very exciting. Our clients will now have the best of both worlds: an ethical internet service provision and support from Supanet and an accredited e-safety solution from a leading provider.
It's unclear from the press information whether the service will cost extra for new and existing customers or be offered for free. Precise details about how Supanet will implement it are also unknown, although on the surface it looks very much like parental control software.
