The online petition started to raise government awareness about concerns over Phorm's (i.e.
BT WebWise) controversial behavioural advertising system has now ended, having gained a respectable 21,360 signatures.
Number 10 must now respond, although we doubt privacy advocates will hear anything new or encouraging. To date the UK government has perhaps been a little too overly sympathetic towards the firm.
