The popularity of Internet access appears to know no bounds, with over half of respondents spending over 24 hours online per week (approximately 3.4 hours+ per day). Interestingly only a few readers used the Internet for less than 4 hours a week, with just over 5% falling into that bracket.
No doubt the primary reason for this activity is because Internet access has become a seasoned and familiar technology, with consumers learning how to make the best use of it. It's little surprise then that just over 50% claimed to use the Internet more in 2008 than in 2007. It's hard to imagine any of this being possible without the wide availability of affordable broadband services.
