T-Mobile has launched the '
mobile broadband share dock', which is a wireless (
Wi-Fi) equipped docking station that shares out
Mobile Broadband connections to other computers, much like a wireless access point or router would do.
Customers just need to plug their USB Modem (Dongle) into the port and access is instantly shared out. This can of course be achieved through ad-hoc wireless networking too, although that requires a degree of technical knowledge to setup:
The Dock is available to new
Mobile Broadband subscribers as part of their monthly fee. Existing customers can also receive the kit, although pricing remains unclear.
