Popular UK ISP
IDNet has today announced the introduction of its new voice and broadband service bundles, which for the first time will include line rental via a single bill solution. Prices for a basic line rental and 8Mbps broadband (1GB usage allowance) bundle start from just £22.91 on a 12 month contract or £24.99 with a single monthly option:
IDNets director, Simon Davies, said: "
We're pleased to announce the availability of BT Phone Line rental and call charges direct from IDNet. This means that we are now able to provide our customers with a single bill covering broadband, line rental and call charges. There are no hidden charges and the rates are significantly more affordable than all the large Telecom providers.
No call setup charges (typically 6p from large Telcos), per-second billing and, to give customers the confidence that we're not trapping them into a bad deal, our standard contract term is just one month (higher discounts available for yearly contracts)."
The news is important because unlike a lot of other big mainstream providers with bundles, IDNet is one of a select few that is perhaps better known for its quality and services than price. We also have a full list of line rental and broadband bundling providers
here.
Note that line rental by itself would normally cost just over £10 per month and the ISP also offers a number of bundles with unlimited weekend and or evening and weekend calls:
Basic package features for all options include free inbound migration, unlimited email accounts, anti-spam email filtering, UK based support, a static IP address, backup dial-up account, per second billing, free caller display and 1470, 1471, 1475, 1571 facilities, no port restrictions and unlimited uploads.
