Ofcom has finally issued us with a brief comment in regards to the previously reported 'Broadband
Migration Code (MAC) Dispute' between UK ISP Fast4 and its supplier EurISP. A spokesperson for the regulator simply said:
"
Ofcom has been made aware of the dispute over migration codes between Fast4 and its broadband supplier EurISP. Ofcom has reminded both parties of their obligations under General Condition 22, and will continue to monitor the situation, but understands that Fast4 is able to request MACs using the facility provided by EurISP."
When asked about specific areas of the dispute, such as the time it was allegedly taking Fast4 to access a single MAC via EurISPs website,
Ofcom declined to comment further.
