Virgin Media has today announced the release of its latest fourth quarterly financial results to 31st December 2007, which revealed that it had a total residential broadband subscriber base of 3,701,200. This compares with 3,590,000 during the previous quarter (Q3), making for a total net addition of 111,200.
In addition, 3,413,900 of its broadband subscribers use the operators cable (nlt:Telewest) network, while the remaining users are on its Virgin.net ADSL platform (287,300).
Virgin Media is expected to introduce a new 'up to' 50Mbps service during the course of this year.
