The Access to Broadband Campaign group has sent out a new conference call for their 'Powering up with Broadband' event, which is to be held at the Aviemore Highland Resort on 2nd and 3rd November 2004:
As the summer holidays have started for a lot and about to, for a lot more, we bring you news of our progress towards the Broadband Conference of the year at Aviemore. If youve not done so already, you need to block out November 2nd & 3rd in your diary to be in Aviemore. Some of the worlds leading authorities on broadband are booked to speak at the conference. World opinion comes to the Highlands and Islands.
Over the two days, youll hear from Peter Cochrane, a leading and inspirational futurologist who will share his technology and social visions for 2010. Entertaining entrepreneur, Malcolm Matson, will provide you with his insights about how businesses, communities and individuals can Power up with Broadband. From MediaLab we have Stefan Agamanolis who will blow your mind on the future of human relationships as mediated by technology.. Dr Mark Parsons from the University of Edinburgh will tell you about the Real Business Benefits of broadband.
We are also delighted to welcome Scotlands Deputy First Minister, the Rt Hon Jim Wallace MSP who will open the conference with a keynote address.
