Nildram has issued its own press release aimed welcoming todays announcement of the new Broadband (ADSL) Customer Migration Code of Practice:
Nildram Supports Migration Code of Practice
Nildram, one of the leading providers of Broadband Access services in the UK, have issued the following Press Release welcoming todays announcement of the new Broadband Customer Migration Code of Practice.
Nildram have been heavily involved in the existing Broadband Provider Migration process since its trial launch two years ago and have had a steady flow of Broadband users unhappy with their previous service from a number of ISPs. Migration provides a platform to move Provider without the need for the service to be ceased and re-provided - removing significant downtime and saving the cost involved with having to pay a full connection fee.
The process has been good news for Broadband customers wishing to change their provider, but it has been slow to gain momentum, partly due to a lack of awareness that the programme exists and confusion over the process, as well as a lack of clarity with regard to which ISPs are actively participating.
Nildram have been a key member of the working group set up to establish the Code of Practice - Mark Taylor, development director at Nildram commented: Nildram have been a driver of the Migration process since the launch of Broadband and are pleased to have been one of the key contributors to this new Code of Practice. He continues: We have a proven track record as an active supporter of consumer choice - as well as historically having one of the highest levels of inbound migration. We believe this new code of practice will make the process of moving between Broadband providers a more straightforward proposition.
