Arsenal FC Picks BT For Official ISP

Posted: 22nd Sep, 2004 By: MarkJ
Arsenal Football Club has made BT its official ISP as part of a two-year marketing agreement, which gives the operator access to the clubs fan base:

Under the terms of the partnership, members of the Club's official membership scheme "The Arsenal", will be eligible for special offers on BT Yahoo! Internet products during the term of the agreement.

BT Yahoo! Internet CDs will be available at the Club stores in Finsbury Park and Highbury making it as easy for Arsenal fans to get high speed broadband as well as value-added services such as free e-mail addresses, parental controls and security filters which come as standard with BT Yahoo! Internet.

Throughout the course of the partnership, online banner advertising for BT Yahoo! Internet will run on Arsenal.com, the highly trafficked official Club web site, which generates close to one million monthly unique users. Thirty-second BT advertisements will play on the two "Jumbrotron" screens at Highbury before matches and at half time, with full-page colour advertisements running in match day programmes.
