It's reported that UK ISP Demon Internet has suffered a glitch with their network storage server, which resulted in connectivity problems on their e-mail and hosting platforms. Thankfully e-mail is now being restored, other services should follow:
Jul 21, 11:50 Access to Demon email via POP3 and SMTP is now available. Mail will however be subject to delay whilst email that has been queued external to our servers is delivered. Engineers continue to work on restoring other services.
Jul 21, 10:40 Engineers have been working through the night to resolve the problems on our network storage servers. Customers may continue to have problems accessing email, and some Websites hosted on the Demon Web Hosting Service will continue to be unavailable, and customers will not be able to make changes to these pages while the restoration work is completed. This continues to be treated with the highest priority and THUS regrets any inconvenience caused.
