It's being claimed that a hacker or NTL employee has managed to briefly change the automated welcome message on customer support lines to say: "
You are through to NTL customer services. We don't give a ***k about you. We are never here. We just ***k you about, basically, and we are not going to handle any of your complaints. Just ***k off and leave us alone."
The Inquirer states that NTL has apologised for the incident and corrected the problem, although no further information was given.
