Via NET.Works New ADSL Teleworking

Via NET.Works has today announced the introduction of its new managed teleworking solutions for SMEs. The services make use of broadband ADSL technology:

VIA NET.WORKS UK, a provider of managed Internet services to businesses, has announced its family of VIA Managed Virtual Office solutions, created to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increase productivity through the adoption of flexible work practices. VIA solutions for the Managed Virtual Office enable employees to work equally effectively, whether they are in the office, at home or at a remote location. Having secure and reliable access to internal office applications and information through the Internet enables SMEs to effectively address the UK Government's recent legislation on flexible working (1) which came into force on 6th April.

For medium-sized and large enterprises, single and multiple sites, who need to connect together headquarter and branch offices and provide remote workers with secure access to the company's IT services, such as business applications, information, e-mail, etc. Includes broadband connection with VIA's ADSL Basic Network service or ADSL Assured Network service, VIA Managed firewall, mobile user Virtual Private Network (VPN) service and VIA Dial-up Internet connection.

Portal:
For businesses of any size who want to improve collaboration between employees, customers, partners and/or suppliers through central web-based services and resources. VIA Web Development services provide bespoke designs to suit a business' needs.

In addition, new Voice from VIA services(2) announced today will enhance VIA Managed Virtual Office solutions, making the management of call charges simpler, providing employers with a consolidated bill and removing the need for employees to claim expenses on home phone usage. Voice from VIA Telebusiness services provide a range of non-geographic numbers including freefone, lo-call and national call rate numbers. Non-geographic numbers (NGNs) can streamline home working with programmed call plans to route calls to a number of home workers in turn.
