THUS has officially become one of the first UK telecommunications service providers to achieve full ISO 9001:2000 certification for Voice, Data, Internet and Contact Centres:
THUS'S COMMITMENT TO QUALITY UNDERLINED WITH ISO 9001:2000 ERTIFICATION
THUS plc, one of the UK's leading providers of voice, networking, Internet and contact centre services, today announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification of its quality systems and processes from certification body, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA). THUS was assessed by LRQA for installing and managing services, as well as for its fault resolution and billing processes, confirming that they meet the criteria for the prestigious quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2000.
THUS's commitment to quality was further highlighted today with the announcement that the company has retained Investors in People status and extended this for its entire UK operations. THUS previously held the award, which recognises best practice in staff training and development, for its contact center services business and customer operations. The increased recognition highlights THUS's success in developing an integrated training and development process for all of its employees.
ISO 9001:2000 provides purchasers with an independent and internationally recognised measurement of companies with a proven track record in quality service delivery. THUS is one of the first UK telecommunications service providers to have full ISO 9001:2000 certification for Voice, Data, Internet and Contact Centres.
Companies seeking certification undergo a thorough audit by a team of LRQA assessors who evaluate the company against the requirements of the QMS standard. The on-site audit involves an extensive review of the company's quality management system (QMS) and all aspects of the end-to-end process, along with verifying the effectiveness of its implementation.
