Telewest Broadband launches new online store to push broadband services
Telewest Broadband has today launched a new online store to allow new and existing customers to order or add to their broadband cable services.
Customers who order via the website can also take advantage of a £5 online discount, which means connection charges for blueyonder broadband internet now start from just £7.50 - the lowest entry price to high-speed internet in the UK today.
The site will allow consumers to sign-up to blueyonder broadband internet, digital TV and telephone. An improved postcode search will first enable customers to check availability of services in their area, before a few simple steps guide them through their order.
Gavin Patterson, managing director, Telewest Broadband, said: "The new online store is a one-stop-shop. This means new customers can do everything from choosing an installation time to retaining their BT phone number, without having to pick up the phone.
We're also making it even easier for consumers to sign-up to our award-winning broadband internet services and, with connection charges starting from just £7.50, there's never been a better time to experience the thrills of high-speed surfing."To be honest, it doesn't sound much like a 'store', more like a more dynamic online ordering system.
