Another Satellite ISP Closes - IPviasat

Yet another broadband satellite ISP, IPviasat, appears to have shut its doors; the third such operator to do so since the beginning of 2003.
The website simply reads: "Sorry the IPViaSat site is currently not available.", while subscribers have also been sent the following e-mail:
Dear ********
As previously stated the service provided by Xantic will cease at midnight tonight.
We will continue to search for another provider that can supply a similar quality of service and will contact you by email as soon as possible.
May we take this opportunity to thank you for using Ipviasat and we hope to have a solution soon.

Sadly it appears as if a number of subscribers were not aware of the closure and have been caught off guard without a service. Its unclear why the Xantic supplied service has ceased.
