THUS Installs ADSL @ Funding Corp

THUS has won a new contract to supply 'The Funding Corporation' with a "complete communications solution", including broadband ADSL for the businesses teleworkers:

THUS TO HELP THE FUNDING CORPORATION LEND HALF A MILLION A DAY

THUS plc, one of the UK's leading providers of voice, data, Internet and contact centre services, was today awarded a contract by The Funding Corporation, the financial services company backed by the IM Group and Barclays to provide a complete communications solution. THUS will provide the company with a range of services including high performance hosting that will enhance The Funding Corporation's branded (e.g. www.LoanOne.co.uk) and white label products by allowing consumers to apply for loans through a variety of channels including interactive TV, the Internet, and telephone. The enhanced services will help The Funding Corporation achieve its goal of lending £1 billion over the next five years.

THUS will provide the company with a customised version of its Advanced Server Hosting product to ensure the service can be efficiently upgraded to meet The Funding Corporation's expected growth. This is specifically designed to provide organisations with high levels of reliability and performance, including resilient disaster recovery. In addition, THUS will provide The Funding Corporation's voice and Internet services, including NTS and direct voice lines, ADSL connections for the company's teleworkers and access to branch networks.
