One of our readers noticed that the failed UK ISP FreeDial has finally removed its website and replaced it with an all too familiar statement:
Due to circumstances beyond FreeDial's control we are no longer able to provide these services.
We are pursuing various courses of action and we will update customers with outstanding accounts as and when we are in a position to do so.
We apologise but for legal reasons and in compliance with the Non Disclosure Agreement in force with BT Wholesale we are unable to give further information at this time.
BT, of course, has since denied any responsibility for the failure of FreeDial to deliver the advertised service.
Hopefully, one way or another, most customers will have now been able to retrieve a refund.
