Brightview, the company behind several UK ISPs, including IC24, Madasfish and Global Internet, has officially entered liquidation:
Brightview was put into administration on Wednesday after a demand was made on the company by one of its creditors.
It is understood that the administration follows a dispute among shareholders.
According to administrators, David Rubin and Partners, the business will survive as a whole and in its existing format. It is the debt and equity structure that will be changed by the administration order, they said, as part of an overall financial restructuring of the company. Some of our readers had reported concerns that this would cause disruption, if not total failure, on a number of the groups key ISPs services.
Thankfully this doesn't appear to be the case and Internet services should continue as normal. More @
