On Monday BT is widely expected to announce a series of broadband ADSL price cuts related to activation and re-grade (changing package). Sadly the cuts themselves will not come into force until 12th January and should last until 30th April 2004:
As part of the special offer, the cost of upgrading from a 512Kbps ADSL connection to 1Mbps will drop by £10, from £35 to £25.
BT is also halving the connection cost of some of its Datastream products, from £50 to £25.It's not yet clear how many ISPs offering related ADSL technologies will choose to pass the savings onto customers. More @
