BT To Cut Wholesale ADSL Prices
By: MarkJ - 13 December, 2003 (10:01 AM)

On Monday BT is widely expected to announce a series of broadband ADSL price cuts related to activation and re-grade (changing package). Sadly the cuts themselves will not come into force until 12th January and should last until 30th April 2004:

As part of the special offer, the cost of upgrading from a 512Kbps ADSL connection to 1Mbps will drop by 10, from 35 to 25.

BT is also halving the connection cost of some of its Datastream products, from 50 to 25.

It's not yet clear how many ISPs offering related ADSL technologies will choose to pass the savings onto customers. More @ ZDNet.
