Pan-European ISP Tiscali appears to be just ahead of its own target after confirming that it has more than a million broadband ADSL subscribers:
Tiscali: reaches 1 million Adsl customers
With 840,000 Adsl customers as of 31 December 2003, Tiscali has largely exceeded year end target already released to the market (of 800,000 customers) showing an increase of around 40% compared to the figure registered at the end of 3Q 2003.
The further increase first weeks in 2004, with an average growth rate of 35.000 new ADSL users per week (+77% compared to the weekly average registered in 4Q 2003) allowed Tiscali to reach the impressive threshold of 1 million Adsl users.
