The governments Office of National Statistics (ONS) has once again published its latest Internet connectivity report, which shows a 1% decline in dialup use and 5.5% growth in broadband between October and November 2003.
The report, which is typically a couple of months behind, covers the period up to November 2003 and no further. Currently permanent (broadband) connections account for 21.5% of all Internet access, up from 20.5% in October 2003.
Typically and much as has occurred with previous months, most of those leaving dialup appear to migrate onto broadband.
