One.Tel Shifts Jobs To Bangalore

It's unclear whether this applies to One.Tel's ISP staff, yet Manchester Online is reporting that the group is shifting its Talbot Road (Old Trafford) staff operations to Bangalore:
Staff at OneTel's office in Talbot Road, Old Trafford, were told last night their jobs - mainly in telesales and customer services - were being transferred to Bangalore as part of a cost-cutting drive.
The workers will be able to apply for other posts in parent company Centrica.
Furious union leaders said it was time for the government to step in to prevent companies switching to cheap labour in India.
