Leading Broadband provider AccentUK, through its Nildram, Lobsterpot and Trinité brands, has gained an enviable reputation in recent years for performance, customer care and innovation. As part of the organisations commitment to the latter, the organisation has recruited a new Portfolio Manager.
Andy Taylor joins the organisation from PSINet where he was European Portfolio Manager for Access services. Whilst there he took responsibility for a wide range of connectivity and networking solutions, constituting over 60% of the companys revenues. As part of the development of this portfolio, Andy developed and executed business cases for Broadband services across Europe, including the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland.
Prior to PSINet, Andy was Operations Director for research company, Market Movements, before joining Netscalibur (formerly Dircon) in 1998 to head up their connectivity product set. Whilst at Netscalibur he was responsible for the companys Dial-Up, e-mail and web hosting product ranges, servicing around 20,000 end users. In 2000 he successfully launched an SME focused Broadband ADSL service.
As part of his new role within AccentUKs senior management team, Andy will be responsible for the organisations complete product portfolio, ensuring that the product range continues to stay ahead of the game in terms of innovation and that the company continues to develop products and services that meet, then exceed, customer requirements.
