Last months survey, which asked how much people would be willing to spend(£) on broadband content, found that just over half wouldn't spend a thing! This month we ask - "Do you read ISP Terms & Conditions before joining?". Results from last months poll follow:
How much would you spend (overall) on broadband content?
Nothing! - 50.8%
£15+ Per Month - 13.2%
£10 Per Month - 12%
£5 Per Month - 10.6%
50p Per Month - 6.8%
£1 Per Month - 6.3%
Total Votes = 1272
Despite the large number of people refusing to pay a thing, the second highest vote still came in at 13% for those willing to spend £15 or more a month. Similarly £10 and £5 gained 12 and 11% respectively.
In total this accounts for 36% of people willing to pay between £5 and £15+ per month for content, so there is a clear market for it, if not a massive one.
Roughly 12/13% of readers would be more inclined to invest if the content cost was of a less noticeable level (£1 to 50p). It would be interesting to know what people expect for their money.
