SurfAnyTime's Derek Lewis has reported receiving "
the exact same email".
The problem may be a hang over from when both ISP's were part of the Affinity group, which later closed and sold its customer base to a third party. Some readers may remember the problems caused by this.
Clearly those involved never destroyed the confidential customer contact details and the mail offers no option to 'unsubscribe' (SPAM). We would suggest that anybody receiving said mail report it to Ofcom and Trading Standards, otherwise they may continue to try contacting you in the future.
