NTL Launches Broadband Medic

NTL has announced the availability of Broadband Medic, a new self-help tool designed to help customers diagnose and fix their own Internet and e-mail problems:
The downloadable Broadband Medic self-help tool includes online tutorials and automatic repair of many common problems.
If Broadband Medic cannot fix the problem customers can contact an NTL technical advisor via an online chat tool - the advisor will also use a Health Check page detailing a customers internet settings.
NTL broadband customers can download Broadband Medic via http://www.ntlworld.com/help/broadbandmedic . It is not available for Mac users.
Experienced surfers can probably solve most problems, yet many are not familiar with networking and such a tool could help. Whether it does or not, well, thats another story. More @ Web-User.
