For the next two weeks BT is giving residents in London a chance to trial the new photo and video e-mail service of their Internet kiosks:
BT is holding trials of video and photo email at ten kiosks in London - you can record a 30 second video clip of yourself and email it to friends for £1 or take a picture and attach it to an email for 50p.
Internet kiosks offering this new service, which will be plastered with bright yellow posters, include ones at Victoria Coach Station, Terminal 3 Heathrow Airport and Eurostar arrivals at Waterloo station.
If the trials prove successful, BT says additional services may be extended to its kiosks in London and across the country.Doesnt it cost less than 50p to send an MMS (picture) message using most mobile phone networks? More @
