Following on from yesterdays news item, in which Affinity Internet Holdings (AIH) found its shares suspended; today Administrators have been called in:
In a statement this morning the company said: "Affinity Internet Holdings plc has in recent weeks been negotiating with its creditors and due to the uncertain financial position it finds itself in has taken independent professional advice.
They regret to announce that this has resulted in Andrew John Pepper and Lee Anthony Manning of Kroll being appointed as administrators for its subsidiary Affinity Wireless."
The Register understands that there are a number of offers on the table for Affinity's telco business and that a deal could be completed as early as this week.
