BTs '
No Frills' Broadband ADSL service has today announced the launch of a new gaming site to showcase the power and speed of broadband Internet access:
ITS GAMM-ON FOR BTS BIKER PIGS!
BT Broadband stars launch online game and microsite
Smokey and Streaky, the porcine motorcycling stars who show their need for speed in the BT Broadband TV ads, have mounted their hogs and zoomed online with the launch of their crackling new game and microsite at http://www.hogsangels.com.
The two porkers have gone interactive to demonstrate the benefits of BT Broadband, whether its being able to race their hogs up to a sizzling ten times faster, have a good old snout-wag on the phone at the same time as their partner-in-grime is online, or being easy enough to install that even a biker pig can do it!
In the Hogging the Broadband game, either of our two heroes must be guided down a fast revolving BT Broadband pipe and collect points by capturing the flying files as they zoom down the pipe. However, to pick up the files that guarantee high points-games, music and movies-they need to get a trotter on the BT icon - boosting them with super-broadband speed. Pick these large files up in normal narrowband speed, however, and theyll slow the porker down.
Along with the option for players to email the Hogs Angels game to other hogs, challenging them to beat their top score, the microsite also features some great hog links- a hot list of web sites, as well as a Smokey and Streaky screensavers to download and an online guide as to why the two piglets always travel at broadband rather than narrowband speeds. And if that isnt enough, players can subscribe to BT Broadbands free activation offer (available until 31 March) directly from the microsite, by clicking the Free Connection Now button.
