UK ISP
Freeserve has reiterated earlier dismissive comments regarding the recent reports that it could soon be re-branding under the Wanadoo (parent) name:
Recent press reports claim that a £20-£30 million rebranding exercise could happen as early as next year once the ISP completes a review of the matter.
A spokeswoman for Freeserve admitted that the issue was still "under review" and that "no formal decision had been made". It's not known when a decision will be made either.
Elsewhere, Freeserve also denied industry whispers currently doing the rounds that the company might be on the look out for a buyer.Unfortunately such comments often help to fuel speculation rather than put an end to it. Either way we'll probably know more next year. More @
