It's that time of the month again.
Oftel's latest fact sheet has reported that, at the end of October 2003, there were 1,852 ADSL enabled BT lines and 1,532,000 active broadband connections.
Coverage remains at 80% (78% actual coverage - taking into account exchange distance limits) with Kingston still holding exactly 10,000 connections on top of BTs 1.53million+.
A further 10 exchanges were also unbundled to non-BT operators. Overall 189 physical and 53 distant location facilities have been completed under LLU.
There's also a reminder that yesterday saw the official introduction of BTs new 1Mbps Home ADSL product.
